Two Jewish State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz students kicked out of a sexual assault awareness group and then cyberbullied, harassed and threatened, over their Jewish and Israeli identities, filed a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.

The first national study of campus antisemitism conducted by students themselves demonstrates that while hatred against Jews expressed online remains a significant problem, almost three-quarters of incidents took place in-person, with the remainder happening online.

The World Jewish Congress (WJC) and Jewish on Campus today announced a joint partnership to amplify the voices and strengthen the actions of college students who identify antisemitic occurrences at their schools.
