In 2021, we filed our first Title VI complaint against the University of Vermont after several students submitted incidents of severe and persistent antisemitic harassment and discrimination, excluded from student groups on campus due to their connection to Israel. Our complaint was resolved U.S. Department of Education, the first of its kind recognizing anti-Zionist harassment and discrimination as antisemitic.
Since then, Jewish on Campus has filed additional civil rights complaints against SUNY New Paltz, Wellesley College, American University, and Cal Poly Humboldt.
In 2022, Jewish on Campus CEO and Co-Founder Julia Jassey joined a series of White House roundtables to strategize federal efforts to combat antisemitism. She was the only student and Gen-Z leader in the room.

Organizing student leaders.
In 2023, we launched the Jewish on Campus Student Union to train student leaders in Jewish advocacy and connect directly with students on the ground to combat antisemitism. Our campus representatives have led peer-to-peer educational events on their campuses, pursued local advocacy initiatives, and created a space to discuss campus antisemitism with their peers.
Groundbreaking research.
Also in 2023, Jewish on Campus partnered with Ipsos and the World Jewish Congress to release a landmark study on campus antisemitism, finding that nearly three-in-five Jewish students surveyed had witnessed or experienced an antisemitic incident.
